About this apartment rental
Make breakfast with the lagoon in view, then take the scenic drive to Sandy Beach or Hanauma Bay for a full day on Oahu's east side. This two-story, two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath waterfront home at Kuapa Isle sleeps four and looks toward Koko Crater and blue water. Two breezy decks, one off the kitchen and one off the primary suite, give you room to linger outside. The community pool and clubhouse are close by, and beautiful bay beaches are minutes from the door. Inside, a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a king primary suite, and a queen guest room make family time feel easy. Please note that this home has no air conditioning, a 31-day minimum stay applies, and the boat dock is not available for guest use. It is a special choice for a small family or couple looking for a longer, quieter Oahu stay away from Waikiki.
The Space:
Two spacious floors give this 1,582-square-foot waterfront home real room to spread out. The modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, a breakfast table, and a bar for three. A king primary suite opens to its own deck, while the guest room has a queen bed. Two more decks bring in the lagoon and Koko Crater views. There is no air conditioning.
Guest Access:
Guests at Kuapa Isle Gem Unit enjoy access to the communal pool and waterfront grounds within this peaceful Honolulu community. The home offers a private entrance with a lit path to the door, plus a patio for relaxing outside. In-unit washer and dryer and towels provided round out an easy, comfortable stay.
The Neighborhood:
Hawaii Kai sits on Oahu's scenic southeast coast, where Maunalua Bay and Koko Crater create a more open, residential feel than Waikiki. Sandy Beach is a quick drive along Kalaniana'ole Highway, while Hanauma Bay's protected marine preserve is nearby for a planned snorkel outing. Marina dining and local shops give the area everyday convenience. It is a good base for guests who want east-side beaches, wide views, and a quieter home rhythm.
Getting Around:
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, depending on traffic. A rental car is recommended in Hawaii Kai for reaching beaches, trailheads, shopping, and dining around the southeast coast. The marina area and neighborhood services are a short drive away, and the home includes parking for four vehicles.
Other Things to Note:
Parking is available for four vehicles, two in the assigned carport and two parked in tandem. This duplex property does not have air conditioning. All leases require a minimum 31 day term. Please note the boat dock and the boat stored at the dock are not available for guest use.
