The Neighborhood:

Upper Haha'ione Valley gives you a residential south-side Honolulu base with nature close by. Pyramid Rock Loop is a few hundred feet down the road, Maunalua Bay Beach Park is about two miles away, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve and Koko Head Trail are roughly four miles away, and Koko Crater Botanical Garden is about five miles away. Getting Around:

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is generally 30 to 45 minutes away, depending on traffic. A rental car is strongly recommended in Hawaii Kai, where beaches, trailheads, restaurants, and shopping are spread out. Waikiki is typically a 20 to 30 minute drive, traffic permitting. Plan to confirm parking arrangements before arrival.
