Secluded Stone Escape by Lake Vrana

A Dalmatian stone house with a swimming pool, for up to four people, is located in the Vrana Lake Nature Park, only 15 km south of Biograd na Moru. The location of this house is ideal for all who enjoy the nature and outdoor activities. The house is completely secluded, surrounded by the untouched nature of the nature park, and is accessible by car. The house has a kitchen with a dining room and a living room, one bedroom and a bathroom. In the living room there is a sofa bed, a fireplace and a wood stove for heating, so the house can be booked all year round. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and an electric refrigerator. Dishes and bed linen are waiting for you. Fresh bed linen is made available after each week of stay, while bathroom and beach towels are not offered. The electricity of 220V is solar powered, but it is not possible to use household appliances except those that are part of the house equipment; from their own devices, guests can only use battery chargers for mobile phones and/or laptops. Running cold and hot water is installed in the kitchen and bathroom. Given that the water stays in the tank during the summer at high temperatures, if it is to be used for drinking, it is necessary to boil it beforehand. Most guests decide to buy bottled drinking water. We recommend that you bring your mobile phone, so that you can contact us in case of need. You can charge your mobile phone in the house with your regular home charger. Guests can have WiFi internet in the house by purchasing a SIM card for around 11 EUR for a week of flat rate internet. Guests need to insert this SIM card into one of their own devices, after which their device will function as a hotspot. Pets are welcome upon request and against an additional charge. To make summer nights as pleasant as possible, there are mosquito nets on all windows and entrance doors. Given that this house is located in a nature park, a protected area rich in all animal species that normally live in these areas, it is advisable to keep these nets closed at all times, so that unwanted guests - insects, snakes and the like - do not wander into the house. Guests can also use the barbecue, which is located on the covered terrace with 2 deck chairs. The house is surrounded by dry stone walls typical of Dalmatia, and olive trees in the garden. There are also 2 mountain bikes available, and there are marked bike paths around the lake. Nearby is a viewpoint from which you can see the entire lake, our archipelago and the Kornati National Park. Lake Vrana is the largest natural freshwater lake in Croatia, an ornithological reserve, a nature park, an ideal picnic spot for fishing, cycling and hiking.
