1. The hotel staff started conversing with me by demanding an advance to confirm the reservation. 2. Even though the check-in period was stated in the website to be extending into late night (11 pm if I remember right), the staff stated the check-in is till 9 pm. I had booked the property for my mother and aunt. Their train was scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar at 9: 30 pm. How were they supposed to check-in at 9? If they are operating a property near the railway station, they should keep tabs on the schedule of trains. Passengers are going to stay at their own convenience, not at the convenience of the staff. This is what we're paying them for! Luckily, the train reached ahead of schedule and the guests were able to check-in at around 9: 30 pm. The check-in was smooth. 3. I received a mail from booking.com that the hotel did not report the guests' check-in. Even after completing the stay.
