Hari Mahal turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we've had in Udaipur. The property is currently an active construction site, resulting in a constant, frustrating ruckus throughout the day that ruins any chance of relaxation. The rooms are in poor condition with rough, unfinished edges, and shockingly, basic provisions like dustbins and toilet paper were missing. To top it all off, the breakfast was a complete disaster: it was served in an unhygienic area and offered an extremely limited, unappetizing menu (just a few random items like thepla, upma, tea, coffee, and kadhi pakoda). It was so bad that we actually checked out without even eating breakfast. (While lunch was decent, it couldn't salvage the stay). Between the unprofessional staff, ongoing chaos, and complete lack of value for money, this place is heavily overpriced. Skip it entirely there are far superior, cleaner, and peacefully managed hotels in Udaipur available at a fraction of the cost.

Had a great stay at this property in Udaipur. The location is peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle, while still being close to all the major tourist attractions. The rooms were very spacious, the property was beautifully renovated, and the food was good too. Mukesh Bhaiya and Basant Bhaiya were extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a small issue initially, but Basant resolved it promptly on the spot. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend it!
