About this house rental
This family-friendly house sits on the outskirts of Perth with an enclosed garden and parking on-site. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms provide plenty of space for up to eight guests and a well-equipped kitchen for home cooking. It also has an extension, which further adds to the property.
The city centre is only a 10-minute journey by car, and Tesco is only 5 minutes by car.
Excellent touring base for many of Perthshire's beautiful sites and activities.
Bedrooms:
The first bedroom has two single beds, ideal for children or friends sharing. Bedroom two offers a comfortable double bed. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a king-size bed, giving everyone room to spread out and sleep well.
Bathrooms:
Two bathrooms, each with a walk-in shower, mean no queuing in the morning.
Living Area:
- Relax in front of the television after a day exploring the area.
- A dining table seats everyone for shared meals.
- Workspace available if you need to catch up on emails
Kitchen:
Cook at your own pace with a hob, oven, microwave, and fridge freezer.
- Dishwasher to make light work of the washing up
- Toaster, kettle, and all the basics you need for breakfast
- Dining table nearby for easy serving
Outdoor Space:
- Enclosed garden perfect for children and pets to roam safely
- Patio with garden furniture for morning coffee or evening drinks
- A private entrance gives the house a secluded feel

Practical Details:
Check-in is at 16:00, and check-out is at 10:00. Children and infants are welcome, and a highchair and travel cot are provided if requested beforehand. Pets are welcome too for a fee; please get in touch.
The area is well known for being an active, mixed-use neighbourhood with a strong sense of local convenience, educational hubs, and immediate access to major transport routes. It is located about 1.5 to 2 miles west-northwest of Perth city centre.
The area is serviced by local grocery stores (such as Farmfoods) and local takeaways. A large Tesco Extra is also located just a short distance away near the A85 roundabout. McDiarmid Park: Sitting just off Crieff Road, this is the home of St Johnstone Football Club.
It serves as a major focal point for sports and community events in the area. Outdoor Access: The neighbourhood is situated on the edge of town, making it easy to head west into the stunning Perthshire countryside or quickly access the A9 for travel north and south.
UHI Perth: The main campus of UHI Perth (University of the Highlands and Islands) is situated directly on Crieff Road, making it a popular location for students, staff, and campus events (like the local family roller discos). The Glover Arms: This highly rated, reliable local pub is a staple in the neighbourhood, offering family-friendly dining and a classic "local" atmosphere.
The property is located about 4.8 miles (approx. 15 minutes by car) from the famous Perth Racecourse in Scone Palace Park.

Due to living in the property when we don't have bookings, we have used a bit of the rear garden to store our vehicles. You still have a very large garden, and they will not block or inconvenience you.

Please note the following house rules, which are in place to ensure the property remains in excellent condition for everyone.
- Please be considerate to the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM. The neighbours have my contact number and will inform me of any concerns.
- We all love our pets; however, please do not allow your pets to sleep on the beds. This is to help prevent potential allergies. Despite thorough cleaning, pet hair and other allergens may still be present and could trigger a reaction in others.
- When you leave the property, please return the house keys to the key box to avoid misplacing them.
- Check-out time is 10:00 AM. The property will be cleaned at 10:15 AM, so I kindly ask that the premises be fully vacated by then to allow for a thorough cleaning for the next guest.
- When showering, please open the windows and doors to prevent the bathroom from becoming steamy and to reduce the risk of dampness.
- Vehicles parked on the premises are at the owner’s risk. We shall not be held liable for any incidents that may occur.
- When you leave the property, please switch off all lights, heaters, electronics, and any other devices that consume energy.
- A maximum of eight (8) guests is permitted.
- Please remove your shoes when moving around the property.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Please report any damages and/or breakages in a timely manner. Any damage exceeding the amount of the security deposit must be paid by the guests and will be reported to the platform.
- Please wash the dishes you have used.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Please smoke only in the designated outdoor area. If smoking occurs within the premises, or if there is evidence of smoke or a lingering odour inside, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of minimum £200 to cover extra cleaning and the removal of the smell.
