    At first I liked this hotel, newly reconstructed, so new furnitures, fixtures, linens, toiletries and slippers. The advertised photos were exactly the same in reality, plus 2 full length mirrors. I liked that it's on top of the hill so a bit away from the city center crowd and has nice views in some room. The breakfast was a normal buffet of eggs, sausage, breads and salad with coffee and juices but the kitchen ladies are friendly and always smiling despite not speaking english. The reception (which changes everyday by the way) informed me beforehand that AC was still under maintenance so I could've cancelled my reservation but decided to stay since they provided 2 electric fans. The issue was I got robbed inside the hotel room and the reception's response was very dismissive. I left my other wallet in my backpack inside the locked hotel room everyday to go out and explore. I totally forgot about it until we checked out and went home when I finally saw that the euro and dollar bills were missing. Only tenge and yen were left. I texted the hotel to let them know what happened, and to be aware that someone with keys to the room took my money. I wasn't even asking for compensation, just acknowledgement and basic customer service for the unfortunate experience. However, the response was very dismissive, accusatory even, and very short of any sense of empathy. On hind sight, I should've locked my bag or not left any valuables in the room but robbery is still unacceptable in any situation. In summary, it's a good accommodation but beware of it's shortcomings.
