About this house rental
The house is spread over three floors, located in Sanlúcar de Guadiana, a charming white town in southern Spain at the western end of sunny Andalusia, by the Guadiana river on the border with Portugal. Only one hour and fifteen minutes from Faro airport.
The chestnut wood used in the beams, and hand painted clay tiles flood the house with comfort and tranquility.
The temperature is maintained by air conditioning, central heating and a wood burning fireplace in the living room.
One can start enjoying a coffee or morning tea on the terrace, whose privileged situation immerses us in a landscape where light, water and clean air sharpen the senses. The Guadiana River and Portugal form a unique framework.
The house is ready to accommodate four to six people, with all the comforts.
Nearby there are numerous leisure activities for fans of all sports, including kayaking, paddle surfing, flyboarding, etc.
The first international cogwheel cable in the world allows us to fly over the Guadiana river at 80 km / h.
Visitors can take a walk along the riverbank or cross into Portugal for a refreshing dip on the beach of the Alcoutim River.
In Sanlúcar there are four bars / restaurants, two mini-supermarkets, a traditional bakery and the opportunity to buy fresh fish on certain days.
Sanlúcar de Guadiana is a perfect base from which to explore. The beaches of Ayamonte, Isla Cristina and the Portuguese Algarve are within a half hour drive. Seville, the Sierra de Aracena and the Picos de Aroche, the Donana National Park, the Rio Tinto mines, the places of great cultural interest can be easily visited from here.

Great location. We ended up booking during a 4 night festival. It was great to see but very loud at night and difficult with stores and restaurants being closed. But, we understand this wasn’t the fault of the host but solely our ignorance. We still enjoyed it and it was a beautiful town. Gracias por todos.

If you wouldn't like the country-side right next door.
If you wouldn't like a friendly QUIET and pristinely clean village.
If you wouldn't like a fabulous view of the Guadiana River, dotted with sailboats from your very own roof-top terrace.
Then this isn't the place for you!
Casa rural la Raba Terraza is very well outfitted. All the rooms are nicely decorated and it has all the comforts of home. The roof-top terrace is the real draw to this property with fabulous 360 degree views. (note: 33 steps from top to bottom)
There are very few dining options right in Sanlucar, but there are lots of restaurants within easy reach across the river in Alcoutim, Portugal - an international adventure on your doorstep. Or .. cook at home in a well outfitted kitchen.
