The Grey Moose Getaway

Glamping at its finest. Thank you for a great stay at the Moose. This is a cabin in the woods, so of course there will be bugs outside, therefore, please take that guest photo down with the bugs on the website. There is a wonderful winery you can walk to with a momma and baby goat to watch and beautiful scenery with mountains and vines. We were lucky to see a live one man band at the winery on Saturday. It was incredible. So peaceful and relaxing. I went into town and bought steaks for the grill one night. No issues. I was not sure if there would be shampoo so I bought some but did not need to as Vacasa takes care of everything. The only thing that i expected was usually people leave spices and pantry items they can’t take with them but I guess they all have been discarded except for the salt and pepper, coffee and a few packets of sweetener. I left some powdered creamer for the coffee for the next guest as well as Montreal steak seasoning. I hope they don’t throw it out. The jacuzzi looked brand new. The beds were very comfortable. The couch was weird. It had some metal at the top which made it easy to bump your head when you sat down. The bathtub was great and we did not run out of hot water. It was difficult to find in the dark and rain but we found it eventually. There are comments about the road about gravel and potholes but a small or medium size suv will make it. Enjoy!

The hot tub was not clean and smelled but once we reported it the local service came that day and cleaned it. We did have a broken lamp they did not fix or replace. But overall the place was clean, very comfortable, and we really enjoyed sitting on the back deck early morning and evening.Our dog was happy and enjoyed going for walks in the area,

One the hot tub was heated up, our stay was perfect. So secluded!

The view was great.Was happy our dog had a yard to roam.Amenities met our needs.
