Welcome to the Onsala peninsula, which is known for its beautiful archipelago. The area offers everything from cliff swimming and nature reserves to cozy harbors, ice cream cafes and historical sights This accommodation consists of two small, newly built (2025), cute cottages with a surrounding terrace. In one cottage there is a kitchen and bathroom, modern and fresh. In the other there is a bunk bed where the upper bunk is 90 cm and the lower bunk is a full 150cm. The cottages share a plot with the homeowner and with only 300 meters to the bathing jetty and about 350m to the swimming area with a small sandy beach and rocks, it is a perfect starting point for your holiday! Electric car charging is available at the cottage, payment is made on site. There is a nature reserve starting about 300m from the cottages. There are several coves and swimming areas where you can take a dip and which, in addition to magical nature, also offers fantastic views. Röda Holme has a popular swimming area on the other side of the bay. Visit Gottskär, it is within cycling distance if you don't want to take the car. Here there is a lively harbour with lots of activity, a restaurant, kiosk, bike rental, "Surfskjulet" where you can rent SUP and kayaks and a popular beach by the cliffs. The nearest town is Onsala. Here you will find most of what you need for your holiday. A short drive will take you to Kungsbacka, a pleasant town with cosy cafes and shops. On the other side of the Kungsbackafjord is Tjolöholms Castle, well worth a visit. Be sure to visit the cultural reserve Äskhults By and Naturum Fjärås Bräcka. Vallda Sandö, here you can both watch birds and flowers or take a bath. For those who are hungry for shopping there is Hede Outlet, a shopping centre in Hede in the northern part of Kungsbacka. Fishing in the sea is free and in the Kungsbackaån there is both trout and salmon and also one of Sweden's best perch fishing. A fishing licence is required. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses in the area. The closest is Vallda golf & country club. Grocery store and well-stocked seafood/fish shop are about 4km from the cottage. Also a paddle court and frisbee golf course (about 5km) for an active holiday. In the vicinity there are also stables and riding stables with the possibility of renting horses and riding. The cultural and entertainment city of Gothenburg with Universeum and amusement park Liseberg (43km) There is a cat on the property named Selma. She keeps her distance but is friendly. There is a charcoal grill available for you to use. The hot tub can be rented, but the cost is arranged directly with the homeowner on site. Welcome to an eventful holiday!
