Welcome to the heart of rural tourism in Spain and the Asturian Biosphere Reserve! Lush mountains, crystal-clear streams, windmills, hiking trails, cultural activities, and regional cuisine in a magical, unspoiled setting that invites relaxation and reflection.
In this idyllic setting lies La Casita Olga, a stone-walled, slate-roofed home built on a 6,000-square-meter lot, offering a magical experience for those who long for tranquility and meditation and are seeking a sanctuary to recharge and reconnect with nature—with or without children.
Located in an idyllic setting in Silvallana (Taramundi), this two-story house sleeps up to 4 people and offers breathtaking views.
Upper floor: living room with a double sofa bed, a loft, a fireplace (gloves and firewood provided outside), and a spacious double bedroom with a large closet. The bedroom is separate but opens onto a small hallway that connects to the living room and the full bathroom through an archway (there is no door).
Lower level: kitchen and half-bathroom. Equipped with Wi-Fi on the upper floor, a small top-loading washing machine, 2 lounge chairs, and a garden table and chairs. 2 dehumidifiers.
There are 2 free, marked parking spaces (P at the wooden gate). From the parking lot, you descend to the house via stone stairs adjacent to the cabazo (the cabazo is not available for rent). Do not park on the path leading to the cabazo or underneath it. A vehicle is essential for exploring the region.
The nearest store with basic food and toiletries, pharmacy, bank, restaurants, and hotels are in Taramundi, 12 kilometers from the house. The house is about 20 kilometers from Vegadeo, where you’ll find a supermarket, houses built in the “Indiana” architectural style, and the Camino de Santiago. Peñarronda Beach is 30 minutes away. Oviedo Airport is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes away.
As this is a rural tourism setting nestled among lush mountains, the presence of insects is unavoidable. There is a security camera installed on the outside of the house’s front door and another outside the cabazo, monitoring the exterior of the property.
An initial supply of soap and toilet paper is provided. The property is not accessible for people with mobility issues.
In compliance with Spanish law, all guests must provide identification (e.g., national ID card, passport, valid identification) before check-in. This information is forwarded to the Spanish authorities through the SES Hospedajes portal. Thank you for your understanding.
