A Short Getaway by the Sea—Time for Us
Sometimes it doesn’t take much: fresh North Sea air, the vastness of the horizon, and a cozy place where you can simply relax.
Our lovingly furnished vacation home for two is located in a quiet spot in the charming neighborhood of Altenbruch. Grünstrand Beach—and thus the World Shipping Route—is just a few minutes’ walk away. Here, you can watch the large ships on their way to the North Sea, take long walks right along the dike, go on bike rides, or simply enjoy the wind, the waves, and the special atmosphere of the coast from a beach chair.
The vacation home features a separate entrance and offers everything you need for relaxing days for two. It includes a modern bathroom with natural light, a comfortable box-spring bed for restful nights, and a stylish living area with a high-quality leather sofa. A smart TV and a soundbar are available for cozy evenings. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area are perfect for a relaxed breakfast or dinner together.
The covered terrace is especially lovely, offering a view of the large natural garden, which invites you to linger, explore, or even get involved in shaping it yourself. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and leave everyday life behind.
Your parking space is right outside the door, and bicycles can be stored safely.
You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay right on site: restaurants, the well-known Café Löwenzahn, a bakery, an Edeka supermarket, a village store, as well as a doctor, dentist, and pharmacy.
You can bring your own towels and bed linens or book them in advance for an additional fee.
Unfortunately, the city of Cuxhaven charges a bed tax of 2.75% (per stay) and a visitor’s fee of €2.90 (from January 8 to April 1) or 3.20 € (for the rest of the year) per night for each person who is 16 years of age or older. These fees must be paid on site upon arrival.
The vacation home is a smoke-free property, and unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
