Luxury Renovated Apt

The location was great, with close proximity to all the major attractions. The reception staff were really helpful, both on calls and through the app messages, and the hosts were very prompt in their replies. One thing to be aware of: the host asked for payment via a PayPal link, saying they couldn't charge the card through Booking.com. It worked out fine for us and we paid after checking in, but I'd urge future guests to be cautious, since paying outside Booking.com isn't something the platform recommends, and I'd suggest confirming directly with Booking.com before doing it.

The apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. We were travelling with our toddler and her pram, and it was a hassle to carry it up and down every time we went out. I also noticed the kettle had limescale and some old water left in it, something for the cleaners to keep on top of. There's no air conditioning as it's an older building, which is fine, but table fans would be a big help since it can get really hot in summer.
