WoodSpring Suites St Joseph

Being brand new the room was very clean. I liked the bed and the covers. AC and Heat were easily available. No breakfast offered at this time, but there was coffee in the lobby.

No coffee in the room. There is a kitchenette, but no items to use. I didn't really want to cook, but there wasn't even a spoon, fork or knife to use if I was going to bring in some items to eat. Odd. The rooms have no carpet, which I liked. However when the tenant in the room above got in after 1:00 a.m. all his/her movements were obvious. Setting down the suitcase, moving the chair a few times, dropping a heavy item, etc. All normal movements, I would say, but I didn't care to hear them when I was trying to sleep. Took them more than a hour to get settled in. A rug would have muffled all of this.

The room had 2 beds but linens, there were only 2 wash cloths and 2 towels. No hand towels and with 2 beds, normally you need more linens. Didn't realize we didn't have enough until midnight. Was annoying not having more in each room. There was no body wash/shampoo in shower like most hotels attached to the wall. The elevator made some LOUD noises. For the hotel to only been open 2 weeks, there is something wrong with the elevator. SUPER clean but need more accommodating items for guests.

Loved the location and price of the hotel!

Disappointed in the maintenance guy not fixing the air-conditioner in my room. Because the hotel has only been open for a few weeks, I was told A/C units still needed to be programmed. Supposedly, maintenance fixed the issue, but in reality he did not! I had the A/C on 60 from 3pm until 8:30am, and it stayed stuffy and uncomfortable the entire time. Also, I took a lukewarm shower:( I had the shower knob all the way on hot and was cold the entire shower.
