Hartonos Villa By Familyhouse

It looks very promising in the pictures but when we actually came, it literally looked like a fragile wooden house. I suppose you get what you paid for. It served the purpose. Just a place to sleep at nite. Mattress is good. Enough blanket. Spacious enough. Enough sockets to charge phones etc. there's rice cooker but never used it. There is running water although don't expect hot water. View is good. Location is central. They provide drinking water which is amazing. If you're planning to cook beware there's only 1 pot. The small cooker works well though. Toilet/shower is decent

Hmm.... Where do I start. The house seemed to be built haphazardly. Doesn't feel secure. Well not to British standards lol but perhaps it's okay for Indonesian. I've seen worse there! The door creaks so bad when you open/close it. Doesn't even lock properly, we had to jig it, at some point we had to ask the staff to lock it and even he struggled. As I mentioned don't expect hot water, it's Luke warm. Best go to the hot water spring, Banyu Alam, for 15,000 rupiah/person, for your bath which what we did. It's a basic accommodation to sleep, change and rest that's all. Location is great. Don't expect much. It's definitely not a villa. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.
