Minor hiccup picking up keys but it was easy to get straightened out quickly.

Our family with 4 grownups stayed in this apartment for 6 nights. We like to say that we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay there. The space was big enough for us with two bedrooms och one bed soffa in the living room. The kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and lots of other kitchen utensils, was very practically equipped and the standard good enough for our needs. Location is very close to a food market. Though a bit far from the city center, there was no problem for us since we anyway rented a car. It's only about 1 km away from main road nr 1 going both north and south out from Reykjavik. For us it was actually very practical for our three one-day trips away from Reykjavik: to Þhingvellir (the Golden circle), south-coast and Snæfellsnes. The free parking close to the apartment, was also convenient. Since we might be (one of?) the first guests renting this apartment, we maybe should mention that there were some initial problem with, the instructions for key pick-up (close to Reykjavik airport) and getting the WiFi working. Those problem was quickly solved once the owner got contacted. He also initiated work to solve two things with curtains and missing lamps in the living room/kitchen. We found the owner being serious and keen to help. So overall we can say that this apartment worked well for us using Reykjavik as a base for exploring Islands beautiful nature and culture as well as Reykjavik.
