Stunning Flat in Chelsea, Kings Road with Balcony

The apartment is in an excellent location on King’s Road, with many restaurants, cafés and shops within walking distance. It is modern, bright and stylish, and the balcony is a lovely feature. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment has good potential to be an excellent place to stay once the maintenance issues are addressed.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by several significant issues. Communication with the host was extremely poor. Responses often took more than a day, even when we needed assistance, making it difficult to resolve problems during our stay. The washing machine was broken throughout our entire stay and could not be used. The dishwasher also did not function properly. Another major issue was the shower. The water temperature constantly fluctuated from warm to scalding hot without warning, making it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. The shower mixer did not regulate the temperature properly. We contacted the host and followed the instructions we were given, but they made no difference and the problem remained unresolved for our entire stay. The handling of maintenance was particularly disappointing. Our request for a late check-out was declined, and we were required to leave the apartment by 10:00 a.m. However, without any prior notice, maintenance workers entered the apartment at around 7:00 a.m. on our departure day to install a new washing machine. We were still asleep and had not finished packing. We were never informed that anyone would be entering the apartment that morning. It was both unexpected and an unnecessary disruption, especially considering the repairs could easily have been scheduled after our check-out.
