Banana Bay Paphos

Great location, the apartment was clean and cozy and the contact with landlady was easy and pleasant. There are the beach, shopping mall etc. nearby. There is also a beautiful view from the window.

Some days we heard some noises from the staircase but we had very good night sleep anyway.

The location is good, quite central. Spacious room, nice big window, comfortable bed. As soon as I arrived I discovered that the room was quite warm and the A/C was not working. As I found out, the previous tenants must have broken the Timer-Switch. The host handled it greatly, responded very quickly and managed to find an electrician (on a Friday afternoon) to come and fix it. The electrician arrived within an hour.

The shower is particularly small, and overall the bath-room not as nice as the rest of the flat as it appears in the photos. The building is not great, it's quite old and run down. But in general the main problem of this flat is the fact that it is severely overpriced for what it is. I expected something much much better for the money I had paid (100 euros per night), which made my experience disappointing. Had I paid something closer to say 70 euro per night, I would certainly had lower expectations and complain less. All in all, I think the hosts will soon discover that they really have to lower the price for this venue at this time of the year. Don't get me wrong: it's a DECENT property. But very overpriced for what it is, forming high expectations that it cannot satisfy, and that's its main problem.
