Modern 3BR Apartment in Madinaty Near Strip Mall

The apartment is in an excellent and very strategic location in Madinaty. It is directly across from a convenient strip mall with shops and restaurants, with a supermarket and mosque nearby, and is located just behind a large park. The location also makes food and other deliveries extremely convenient, as Madinaty's addressing system works exceptionally well: providing the building, apartment, and street numbers is generally sufficient for deliveries to arrive directly at the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious and generally very comfortable. The furniture appears relatively new, and the apartment has a pleasant view, good decoration, a well-equipped kitchen, a good dining table, an excellent air-conditioning system, and a very good TV. The Wi-Fi, when functioning, was fast and had very good coverage throughout the apartment. The building has a functioning elevator, although the elevator needs to be activated either with the access code or the magnetic key. A particular positive deserves to be mentioned about Basmala, who was our main point of contact. She was exceptionally kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. She provided us with the key a full night before our scheduled stay, which was extremely helpful, and she also allowed us to check in very early, shortly after midnight on our arrival day. This flexibility made a significant difference to us after travelling. She was generally very responsive whenever we contacted her and made genuine efforts to resolve any issues that arose. She remained in contact with us, including when there were technical problems with the internet and when utility-related issues arose, and she was helpful in arranging solutions and reimbursing us when we had to pay for certain things ourselves. Her attitude and responsiveness were excellent, and she deserves considerable credit for making the overall experience much better. The company is fortunate to have someone as helpful as her.

There were several relatively minor issues which, collectively, became inconvenient during an extended stay. The main concern was the prepaid electricity system. The electricity credit ran out approximately four or five times, unexpectedly cutting the power. As tourists unfamiliar with this system, we had no way of knowing the remaining balance. Each time, we had to contact Basmala and arrange for someone to recharge the card. In a very hot summer, having the electricity suddenly disconnected is particularly inconvenient. These utility balances should ideally be monitored and maintained by the property in advance. The internet was fast and had excellent coverage when working, but it was interrupted several times, with the final outage lasting more than a day. Basmala worked hard to resolve it, but a more reliable system should be in place. There were also some maintenance issues: a leaking bathroom sink, poor shower drainage causing water to accumulate, and an old/rusty door lock with a broken key. The bathroom problems were eventually fixed after several visits, while the lock still needed replacement. Bedding was also not initially provided for all beds despite the listing photographs showing bedding for all. Parking can be difficult after around 6 p.m., although this appears to be an area-wide Madinaty issue.
