Serenity by the Slopes

The property was clean and close to where we needed to be.

The unit itself was fine, however the company that manages the property, Advantstay, was not easy to communicate with. Getting the verification of the link signed and the license verification was a 3 hour process and entailed me uploaded documents on 5 different occasions. This was not easy and very stressful to the point where I wanted to cancel the reservation here and book somewhere else. We had 2 adults staying at the property, which I indicated when booking, when we got to the property it says to park in the spots that were marked for the unit. The outside indicated 2 spots with the same number, however, the instructions on the inside unit indicated only one parking spot. This was extremely confusing and a little stressful. I immediately reached out to see about the discrepancy (I arrived around 5:00)and didn’t hear back from anyone for several hours and by the time the response came back it was after 10:00. Either way we weren’t going to move the car at that time at night. This should have been more responsive and not confusing to people coming in. It turns out this unit does allow for 2 cars but be aware that if you have a 3 car, for whatever reason, if a couple is coming up at separate times, there is no where for the car to be parked. Also, on the internal sign left, it requests that you take the garbage out when you leave. Nothing on the sheet gives the code for the garbage and I checked the app. Luckily I was able to find an another renter that gave me a code to use. The unit does get pretty warm even with the shades closed and using the fans at night. The description of the property did say the lower bedroom window doesn’t open and that’s correct, it doesn’t open because it appears to be broken. I will say that the remote needed batteries to work and the communication regarding this was quick and prompt and we had batteries delivered the next day. All in all location is good and property is clean.
