2 Bed Apartment Huge Terrace & Pool

We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this apartment. Emma and Scott truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and it really shows in all the thoughtful little details. What we appreciated the most were all those small things you don’t usually think about until you arrive somewhere on holiday and realise they’re missing. For example, there were extension leads available (we normally travel with our own!), plenty of storage boxes that were perfect for beach trips, useful local information including 24/7 doctor contact details, lots of clothes hangers, an iron, vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, and a very well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Even little touches like a brand-new kitchen sponge and dish cloth, or the key holders that keep everyone’s keys organised, made such a difference. These thoughtful extras really made the apartment feel like a home rather than just a holiday rental. Scott and Emma were fantastic hosts. Communication was excellent, and whenever we needed something, they responded incredibly quickly. We asked for some extra towels, and they were provided almost immediately, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality and customer service were exceptional, and you can genuinely feel that they care about their guests having a wonderful holiday.

There are just a couple of small things future guests might like to know. We would have appreciated having a few more toilet rolls available on arrival, as otherwise you end up buying a whole pack just for one or two extra rolls. That said, we never asked if more could be provided, so it’s entirely possible they would have happily brought some, just as they did with the towels. The terrace is lovely and gets sunshine throughout the day. However, because the umbrella couldn’t really be positioned due to the beams, there was very little shade. As the only dining table is on the terrace, it made relaxed breakfasts or meals outside during the warmer part of the day a bit difficult. This wasn’t a major issue for us because we spent most of our days exploring the area, and we also never asked the owners whether there was an alternative solution, so it’s simply something worth mentioning rather than a complaint. It’s also worth noting that the apartment is a little further from the beaches and promenade than some visitors might expect. However, it’s well connected by the 110 bus, making it easy to get around without a car.
