Gorgeous Home In Sveti Petar

House is gorgeous. It’s exactly like the pictures. The pool lights up at night and kitchen is fully stocked. Every bedroom has it’s own AC unit and two out of four bedrooms have it’s own bathroom. The property is equipped with an electric gate that allows privacy around the house.

The house itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood and the property is nice, but unfortunately our overall experience was significantly affected by the neighbours and, most importantly, by the behaviour of the owner. We are three young couples who often rent houses together during the summer holidays. We are respectful guests and always make an effort to follow the rules of the property. We fully understand and respect quiet hours. If the rule says that guests must be quiet from 10 p.m., we will be quiet from 10 p.m. However, the written house rules stated that quiet hours started at 11 p.m. Despite this, we were already receiving complaints a few minutes before 10 p.m., and the police were even called to the property. We also felt extremely uncomfortable because the neighbours appeared to constantly watch the property from their balconies and through gaps in the fence. It made us feel as though we were being monitored throughout our stay rather than being able to relax and enjoy our holiday. We would like to point out that the lady we communicated with via WhatsApp was very kind and helpful. The maintenance gentleman was also polite, respectful and communicated with us in a completely appropriate manner. Unfortunately, the owner’s behaviour was the complete opposite and is the main reason for our lower rating. She entered the house without our permission, shouted at us, went through the entire house and threatened us with additional charges of €150 per person. This was particularly upsetting considering that we treated the property with respect and left the house without causing any damage. We understand that owners have every right to protect their property and expect guests to follow the rules, but we also believe that guests deserve privacy, respectful communication and clear, consistent rules.
