Certainly the best B&B experience I’ve had in a long time. Once you cross the forged iron gates you travel from an unremarkable Italian village to a 17th century villa immersed in a Mediterranean garden. You can feel centuries of history as you enter the villa. In the entrance area little seems to have changed over the centuries, preserving the most authentic atmosphere. But the en-suite room is wonderfully remodeled with the perfect balance between authenticity and modern comfort. What makes the experience unique is the way Gregorio makes you feel like a member of his artistic family. I had the privilege of even being able to listen to a rehearsal of him accompanying his mother, who is an opera singer, on the piano in the impressive salon in the first floor.
