Retreat Near the Beach and Tønsberg Town

Location is very good. If public transport needed then busstop nearby. Parking spot for one car outside the entrance very handy. Is about 800 m from the beach, walkable distance. Shops are a bus ride away. It is a residential area main road. But still peaceful. The property has a spacious entrance. The bathroom has a shower. A washing machine is available. All toiletries provided as advertised. The bedroom is a door size. All bedlinen and towels provided ( which is not necessarily given in Norway where so many places want you to have your own bed covers, maybe more so for chalet and cabin style accommodation). The living room is light and bright thanks to a large window. It has a sofa bed. There is a TV. WiFi is provided and is good. The kitchen is functional, has the basics for preparation of easy meals. No microwave though, so warming up foods can be a challenge. We had an occasion when the electricity tripped because I used hob and oven simultaneously. The owner lives upstairs. We didn't want to disturb them but had to knock at their door because the meal was half cooked on the hob. They kindly switched the fuses back and all was well. We had a pleasant stay.

More kitchen utensils would be useful. Larger tea cups.

Det var perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til Ringshaugstranda, en kort rusletur på 5 minutter så var vi der! Leiligheten var fin, hadde alt man trengte, og vertene var utrolig hyggelige! Sønnen min hadde en overraskelse som ventet på seg i kjøleskapet, og foreldrene mine fikk la bobilen stå på parkeringsplassen som tilhørte leiligheten vi bodde i. Hit kommer vi gjerne igjen!
