That everything was reasonably clean etc and the price. Strangely cheap for what it was however I was out in a room that you couldn't lock the door no door on cupboard etc even though the host says I was in middle room I was in the end room. Thought was strange that I couldn't even lock my door however the fron door had a keypad etc. also the toilet started running on the second night I was there, easy fix just the cysteine unlevel. She said she would get booking xom to pay to fix even though wasn't broken (my ex was a plumber and builder ) I paid for an extra night there after the original two nights. She said booking.com would refund me and fine me alternative accommodation etc however that did not happen at all. She also had her handy man come that day and fix it. Then she said she had to pay for it. She confirmed verbally and by property msgs, (however was strange as thee was two conversation threads) that I didn't break it etc and these things happen. However when I informed her that booking only refunded me $17 and didn't find me alternative accommodation she wasn't phased t all. I explained I had saved to stay there, being homeless . It was a big deal, also in a town I didn't know she didn't even offer to take me to a train station etc, just said she was going out to lunch In Northbridge and to be gone by 3pm. Strange stay overall. I could be wrong but perhaps a scam going on . The place was very obviously not lived in by a family. Just used for booking.com . Also the first night I got there, there was a girl packing to leave and said she was going in a few hours, left around 11pm. She would've had to pay for that night. She also had suitcase etc like she was homeless. Strange to leave at that time. Also no-one checked in aside from me the whole time I was there.

Hosts attitude, wasn't in the room she said I would be in. The rooms very different. One set up for staying in. My end room not so much at all. Couldn't lock door. The door itself to the room had been taken off and put on the other side. Looked like bad been kicked in a few times. In my room not even a tissue box like the middle room she made out I stayed in. She said her son is used to stay in that end room and that's why the door was like that. I also seen baggies (I used to have a drug addiction so knew what they were,) used for methamphetamine in the garage on floor, a few of them . That was unsettling. Also I needed to go to IGA the second night for food, she said they closed at 7pm. Google said otherwise. She said no she even called to check then asked why I even neede to go there as there was food there. Strange. I ended up walking in and yes IGA was open till 10pm. She also turned off the dryer (I was drying my sleeping blanket after washing ) a few times stating it was an over heating concern, my blanket was still wet. And she didn't consider I had other clothes I dried before that in the machine when she said (I came home and the dryer was still on ) so that was strange . I didn't lie her attitude when informed that booking .com didn't infact find me alternative accommodation like she stated they would after she called them . And also wasn't refunding me. She even smiled while I told her this and that I was homeless in a town I didn't know and had no time to organise anything. And not being refunded I had no money for transport. Some kindness and understanding like I had for the situation would've been normal and something a host would normally do. An offer to take me to the train station after I stated my health wasn't too great and carrying a large backpack and luggage without an activated phone to even use google maps wasn't enough for her to offer. Off to lunch she went !
