Aufgrund der Waldbrände im Süden sind wir frühzeitig in den Norden gereist. Die Unterkunft haben wir etwa 45 Minuten vor unserer Ankunft gebucht. Trotzdem hat alles mit dem Zugang wunderbar funktioniert. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen kleinen Pool im Hinterhof, der ideal war, wenn es stark windig war. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und für zwei Nächte mehr als ausreichend. Die Lage war super, mit Ausblick auf die Bucht.

Die Dusche ist etwas klein, daher musste man ein wenig aufpassen, dass das Wasser nicht in den Raum läuft.

Long review but definitely worth it as we were the first guests to stay. A true hidden gem in Crete — we had such a lovely stay. We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a delayed flight, so the welcome pack of snacks and water was an absolute lifesaver and such a thoughtful touch. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned twice during our eight-night stay to an exceptionally high standard by a lovely, friendly couple. The photos really do not do the property justice — it is much larger and more spacious than it appears, with a beautiful, private enclosed pool area. Having a washing machine was also incredibly useful. Everything had clearly been carefully thought through, and we genuinely did not want for anything during our stay. The location is perfect. You have restaurants, shops and beaches right on your doorstep, while the apartment still feels peaceful and quiet. All the information provided in the listing about the nearby beaches, restaurants and local area was completely accurate. The host was extremely welcoming, helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We honestly could not have asked for more. For anyone wanting to explore more of the island, there are several car-rental companies within a ten-minute walk. There are only two small things worth mentioning. We used two bath mats when showering to help keep the floor dry, although this was not a major issue at all. Also, when booking a taxi from the airport, we would recommend using Yamas Restaurant as the drop-off point, as it is directly outside the villa. Our driver initially took us to Peninsula Resort & Spa, which was slightly confusing in the dark. Overall, we had a wonderful eight-night stay and would happily return. The apartment is spacious, spotless, peaceful and perfectly located. A genuine hidden gem that we would highly recommend. Thank you very much for having us.
