Casa del Mar sits in a tranquil hillside spot between Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú, offering a laid-back base within easy reach of two lively coastal towns. The local coastline is beautifully varied, with low cliffs, tucked-away coves and beaches all within close distance. The nearby Vilanova seafront is particularly family-friendly, with wide beaches, beach bars, water sports, and a relaxed promenade ideal for evening strolls.
Inland, the surrounding Garraf region is dotted with walking trails and vineyards and offers a more authentic slice of Catalan life. Sitges, just five minutes away by car, is a relaxed coastal town known for its clean beaches, compact old town and easy pace of life. Days tend to revolve around the seafront, with calm swimming spots and a long promenade that suits slow walks and casual cycling. The historic centre is small but attractive, with narrow streets, white buildings and a good selection of restaurants and cafés.
