Welcome to Skipper's Cove — a fully remodeled lakefront retreat tucked at the quiet end of a cove on High Rock Lake. With 220 feet of level lake frontage, a private dock, and over an acre of wooded property, this is the kind of place people come back to year after year.
The cove location means virtually zero boat traffic passing your dock — just peaceful water, wooded shoreline, and room to breathe. And with no bridges between you and the main lake, getting out to open water is quick and easy.
The Dock & Water Access
The private floating dock accommodates 2 boats plus a separate Jet Ski/Wave Runner dock. Fish from the pier, swim off the dock, or launch your own watercraft right from the property. Prefer not to haul a boat? Rentals are available locally at SkipJack Marina, High Rock Boat Dock Marina, and more.

Completely renovated in 2021 — new kitchen, HVAC, roof, windows, floors, paint, and master bath — this home has all the comforts you'd want without the quirks of an older lake house. The open floor plan keeps everyone connected whether you're cooking, dining, or just hanging out.

High Rock Lake hosts championship fishing tournaments throughout the year — a great reason to book early. When you're ready to explore beyond the dock: hike, golf, canoe, or visit one of the area's farm tours or wineries (Richard Childress Vineyards is just 25 minutes away). Further out you'll find the NC Zoo, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Bass Pro Shops, Carowinds Theme and Water Park, Dan Nicholas State Park, and Concord Mills Outlet Mall. Downtown Lexington is just minutes away for a casual dinner, with larger shopping and dining in Salisbury, Concord, and Charlotte. Several marinas on the lake offer boat fuel, fishing supplies, and waterfront dining.
