Wake up to the water. This newly renovated Freeport home sits perched above its own small sandy beach on Casco Bay, with sweeping views from two decks, a firepit in the yard, and a bright, modern interior that`s spotless from top to bottom. It`s the kind of place where the tide sets the pace of your day.
Tucked along Maquoit Drive, this home is all about its setting — a private perch over a quiet stretch of sandy beach on Casco Bay. Step out the door and you`re feet from the water; settle onto either of the two decks and you`ve got front-row seats to the bay, the light, and the boats drifting by.
Inside, the home has been thoughtfully refreshed. The kitchen is brand new — clean lines, full-size appliances, and plenty of counter space for cooking with a view. The primary bathroom has been renovated to match: bright, modern, and hotel-clean. Every room is kept immaculate, so all you have to do is arrive and unwind.
When you`re not on the beach, the backyard is built for slowing down. Gather around the firepit as the sun goes down, swap the deck for the sand and back again, and let the salt air do the rest. Two separate decks mean there`s always a spot to catch the morning coffee or the evening breeze.
You`re minutes from downtown Freeport — L.L. Bean`s flagship campus, local restaurants, breweries, and boutique shopping — with easy access to Portland, Brunswick, and the rest of Maine`s midcoast. It`s a rare mix: a tucked-away beachfront escape that`s still close to everything.
No smoking or vaping: Anywhere on the property, inside or out. Thank you.
Quiet hours: Please respect our neighbors and keep things quiet from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Pets: We love pets, but unfortunately they aren’t allowed in the house at this time.
No indoor fires: The indoor fireplace is decorative— please don’t try to use it.
Firepit: Enjoy it, but please make sure any fire is fully extinguished before you leave it unattended. Bundled “camp wood” is sold at several roadside stands along Lower Flying Point Road, which you drove in on and local hardware stores.
Kayaks: There are two kayaks for guest use on the rack down on the beach — please return them to the rack when you’re done and make sure they are tied to the rack before leaving them. Life jackets and paddles are kept in the garage. By using the kayaks you assume all risk and responsibility, and please never leave them unattended on the beach — the tide can carry them off.
Rinse off: Please rinse sand from feet and gear before heading inside. There’s an outdoor hose to the left of the bulkhead.
Air Conditioning: Please return AC units to 71 degrees at the end of your stay. Please do not leave windows and doors open when you’re using AC.
