The nearby village of Landscove is home to the charming Hill House Nursery and Gardens, while Buckfastleigh offers cafés, shops and the much-loved South Devon Railway, where heritage steam trains travel through the scenic River Dart valley to Totnes. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring Devon’s countryside and coastline.Within easy reach are some of South Devon’s most popular towns and attractions, including Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Dartmouth’s historic streets, marina and riverside setting are filled with galleries, restaurants and waterside activities, while Salcombe is renowned for its beaches, sailing and coastal scenery.
