About this house rental

Summary:

A former artist’s studio that has been completely refurbished for your holidays and short weekend breaks, this property perfectly combines the authenticity of a traditional building with a vibrant, warm and light-filled interior.

The Space:

As soon as you step onto the ground floor, you’ll be captivated by the spaciousness of the main living area. Bathed in natural light thanks to large windows, this spacious area with its cathedral ceiling stands out for its touches of bright colour, its retro rattan furniture and its stained floor, all of which lend it a unique charm. It comprises a lounge area perfect for relaxing, a large, convivial dining table for meals with family or friends, and a fully fitted open-plan kitchen.

A separate toilet also completes the ground floor.

The living area opens directly onto a superb, sun-drenched courtyard with sea views, which is fully enclosed and sheltered from prying eyes. This outdoor space, centred around an authentic stone well, is a true haven of peace: perfect for enjoying breakfast in the open air, hosting a festive barbecue or simply relaxing on the garden furniture after a day of exploring the Abers coast.

Upstairs, the staircase with its handcrafted rough-hewn wooden banister leads to an intimate, cosy and particularly light-filled sleeping area, perfectly laid out to accommodate the whole family.

The panoramic mezzanine lounge is the real highlight of this floor, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the rooftops, the countryside and the sea thanks to a magnificent triangular wooden glass roof. This space is an idyllic spot to relax, read, doze off or admire the coastal landscape, but can also serve as a play area for the children.

You’ll find the first bedroom, in the attic, which harmoniously blends the warmth of wood with splashes of colour. Fitted with a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), it also features a small desk area facing a unique opening onto the countryside.

A second, perfectly optimised bedroom with sloping ceilings features wooden bunk beds (90 x 200 cm) and enjoys the same warm, wood-panelled atmosphere.

A bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, a large washbasin, practical storage and a toilet completes this level.

The little extras you won’t find anywhere else? Bed and bathroom linen provided (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels, tea towels), as well as a digital welcome booklet explaining how the house works and offering advice on activities to do and tourist attractions to visit!

The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and activities: walks in the Abers or along the GR34, sailing, local markets, small fishing ports and traditional restaurants where you can savour Breton specialities. This accommodation is the perfect base from which to explore this magnificent region, nestled between land and sea.

This house is managed by Hestia Conciergerie, to ensure you have a unique and unforgettable holiday experience. We’ll be on hand throughout your stay to help you organise your time here, recommend the best places to visit and book activities to suit your preferences.
