About this house rental
The house is arranged over three floors. On the ground floor, there’s a large living room and very well-equipped eat-in kitchen with everything needed for home cooking, including a gas hob, Bosch oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
The first floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large second sitting room which serves as our TV room and study. This room includes a comfortable double sofa bed. We will lock one of these rooms for storage, depending on whether you need two single beds or a single plus the sofa bed. The principal bedroom, with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, is on the top floor. The house accommodates up to five guests.
The garden is a lovely space to hang out and gets plenty of sun. There’s a long table and benches at the far end for al fresco dinners after a day of sightseeing, a brand new Weber kettle barbecue, plus a sofa and a small bistro type table for two on the near patio. There’s an outdoor table tennis table that’s easy to set up on the patio.
Harringay Green Lanes is known for its excellent independent food shops, bakeries and international grocery stores. There are also great restaurants and cafés around the corner if you prefer to eat out, and lots of nice places to get a drink, including one of North London’s best pubs, The Salisbury, 33’s wine bar almost across the street and Brouhaha on Green Lanes.
Central London is easily accessible in around 30-40 minutes via the Piccadilly Line from Turnpike Lane or Manor House tube stations. Harringay Green Lanes Overground station also provides easy access to Hampstead Heath and other parts of North and East London.
As this is our family home, we will only rent it to guests with good references, who we can be sure will look after it. We’d be particularly grateful if guests could water the garden and house plants during their stay.
