I do not live in the area but am available by phone. There are people in the area to help if anything is needed during your stay.
Quiet, small-town and agricultural setting clustered around Carrollton’s historic square and municipal facilities. The area offers parks, a farmers' market and community events on the courthouse square; dining and basic services are provided by locally owned businesses. The vibe is rural and relaxed—appeals to guests seeking a low‑traffic, authentic small‑town Alabama experience with access to regional attractions by car. Check out the Aliceville museum, or the "face in the glass" at the Carrollton courthouse!
Car is the primary and most convenient way to get around; roads are rural and parking is typically available on‑site. It is difficult to walk on the country roads; there is not sidewalks. For longer day trips, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham offer more transportation options (rental cars, regional buses, airports).
Enjoy the single floor home. If your loved one can maneuver up 6 steps into the home, the home is quite accessible once inside. Our Grandma is here with her walker and gets around the home with ease!
We love our furry friends and would love for yours to visit too- we do insist all pets are up to date on shots, fleas and tick med, and are crate trained or with you when you're not at home. Well- behaved pets and service animals are always welcome with a small $50 pet fee.
