Sue Zen isn't a typical short-term rental. It's a home that was renovated from top to bottom with a single intention: to feel genuinely good to be in.
Every bedroom was painted head to toe and fitted with blackout curtains, a sound machine, and a dedicated TV. Whether you have a light-sensitive toddler or a family that runs on late mornings, these rooms deliver. Lamps with built-in USB and USB-C ports sit bedside so your devices are charged and ready without hunting for an outlet. The beds are dressed in bamboo sheets, down pillows, and down duvet inserts layered over organic cotton mattress and pillow protectors. Sleep here is an experience, not an afterthought.

Designed for Families
This home was designed to welcome multiple generations under one roof. We have a foldable crib, a pack-and-play, a high chair, a stroller, a wagon, and a selection of children's toys. There's a small yard out back with grass to run around and play in.
The picnic kit makes Grandview your backyard: a cooler, picnic basket, two picnic blankets, and Tupperware ready for a morning at Pierce Field or an afternoon at the Grandview Municipal Pool, both just a short walk away.
The Kitchen
Fully equipped and stocked with intention. Non-toxic cookware, a quality knife set, wooden utensils, beautiful plates, a blender, and a curated cookbook. There's a dedicated coffee and tea bar for unhurried mornings and a Moscow mule kit for the evenings that call for it.
The kitchen is designed to actually cook in, not just store takeout containers.
Outdoor Living
The backyard is where the evenings happen. A full sectional sofa, a six-person dining table, a faux plant wall, string lights, fun flamingo accents, live plants, and a propane fire pit all come together to create a space that draws people outside without trying too hard. There's a small grassy area for kids to run around, and a privacy divider adds seclusion from the neighboring side.
The front porch has its own character. A lush faux plant wall frames the space, a beautiful mature tree provides shade overhead, and fresh oregano, a rosebush, and curated mulch beds round out the landscaping. It's the kind of curb appeal that makes you feel good about where you're staying.
The Atmosphere Inside
We absolutely love plants, but this home doesn't get quite enough natural light to keep the ones we love alive. So we've thoughtfully curated faux plants throughout the space to keep things green and honest about it. Thoughtfully placed lamps, mirrors, and art fill the home alongside statement lighting that adds personality to the rooms that call for it. A record player with a curated vinyl collection in the living room and a Nintendo Switch for when the evening turns playful. Beautiful, intentional paint throughout every space.
The home is cleaned exclusively with fragrance-free, non-toxic products, and an air purifier runs in the dining area to keep the air as clean as everything else. Because the details matter.
Laundry
We've partnered with a local laundry service that will pick up your laundry and drop it back cleaned and folded the following day for a fair fee. Inquire for a quote.
