BluHouse - Charming 2 bedroom escape in Joshua Tree

BluHouse is a sparkling clean, newly renovated charming getaway in Joshua Tree, just minutes from the National Park and central Joshua Tree. The home is thoughtfully curated with the owner's art from around the world.

The home features a relaxing spa, cowboy tub pool and deck, new hot tub, relaxing outdoor patio area and a bright and inviting kitchen and living space.

The space
BluHouse is a brightly-lit and lovely 2 bedroom home just 2 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree town. (The home is incredibly clean, all kitchen/bath items, linens, beds, sheets and towels are brand new, and great care is taken to ensure proper sanitation and thorough cleaning.) Inspired by bohemian desert living, the entire home was lovingly restored and includes all the amenities and creature comforts of home. The spacious and well-lit kitchen is a dream for the chefs and foodies out there. BluHouse also includes a charming outdoor patio area, BBQ, two outdoor decks, new relaxing hot tub and cowboy soak tub to kick off your shoes and relax after a day of exploring the National Park. Note: The cowboy pool is not heated and is drained during the colder months, approximately November to April. The hot tub is available year-round.

The home is curated with the personal artwork of the owners–two brothers who have traveled the world collecting textiles, pottery and furniture from all corners of the globe including Africa, South America and Asia. The kitchen, living space are bathed in light giving a bright, clean and relaxed feel. Custom window features from hand-made fabrics and blinds also give the visitor privacy and ability to sleep in darkness, if desired, on a relaxing vacation morning.

Keep in mind, the home is in the town of Joshua Tree. While this means you are close to all the shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. you won't be out in the middle of nowhere. It's quiet and you can see plenty of stars at night. The home feels very private but there are neighbors.

Other things to note
The BluHouse hot tub is from Soft Tub and far more comfortable than typical hot tubs. The inside has a soft give to the material - unlike the hard plastic of standard hot tubs. So it is far more pleasant and comfortable to sit in. So grab you favorite drink, slip into the heated tub and gaze up at Joshua Tree's famous Milky Way star-filled night sky.

Be sure to book for the correct number of guests. The standard rate is for two guests. 3rd and 4th guests are charged $25/person per night. It is automatically added.
