This beautiful duplex apartment sits on the fourth floor of an impressive building overlooking Amble Marina, offering sweeping views across the marina, sandy beach, and open sea. Sleeping up to six guests, the property suits families or groups of friends drawn to the Northumberland coastline for its beaches, castles, and wildlife. Boat trips from Amble to Coquet Island bring you within sight of the birdlife that nests on its shores, while a waterside path follows the River Coquet to the village of Warkworth (2 miles), where a medieval castle awaits your discovery. Further afield, Alnmouth Beach and its scenic golf course lie 6 miles to the north, while Alnwick Castle and Gardens are 10 miles inland. Craster is 13.5 miles up the coast, known for its tasty seafood and the coastal footpath leading to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.


A shared staircase or lift lead to this fourth-floor sea-view retreat. Head inside, kick off your shoes, and you'll be greeted by light-filled accommodation. The fantastic open-plan living space forms the social heart of the apartment, combining a sleek kitchen with a dining space and scenic lounge. Filled with natural light, this space boasts breathtaking views across the water and over to Warkworth Castle. The lounge has plenty of seating to unwind on, including an area for two, and a Smart TV for evenings in. The kitchen features everything required for cooking up those Northumberland feasts, while a wooden dining table invites you to enjoy the chef’s work as you take in the views of the marina. Also on this floor is the first of three restful bedrooms, a double room with its own en-suite shower room. A separate WC completes this floor. The internal staircase leads up to the final two bedrooms: a master super-king-size room with a semi-enclosed balcony and a lavish en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a king-size room with an en-suite shower room and views across the water.


With a choice of two glass-fronted balconies, it couldn’t be easier to savour the sunshine and the surrounding scenery. The first balcony, off the lounge, has a bistro set for al fresco dining. The second, off the super-king-size bedroom, has a table and chairs and is sheltered enough to use even on a windy day.
