Common area looks good, shared kitchen looks good, night-shift staff is lovely

Room was not as described - there's no balcony for the room, no terrace, it's on the ground level right next to the patio; room smelled damp, no windows to open; shower head was broken, unable to use; morning staff was weird and unfriendly; location is also interesting - right in front of a cemetery.

Location close to the malecón and to the zona colonial. Walking distance within 10 minutes - 1 km. The room was huge with a balcony patio with views of the city around it. There’s a common area kitchen available for those that cook. Bathroom was clean and had everything needed. The bed was huge and comfy. TV worked great. A/C worked great. Ceiling fan worked great. And the staff were responsive, friendly, and helpful. Joseph (she) was the best.

The only warnings I will give is that there’s no hot water for those of you who can’t do without. And there are three flights of stairs including one spiral staircase to get up to the terrace apt I was in. They have rooms on every floor. The building isn’t marked so you have to be vigilant to find it but it wasn’t hard for me. Don’t be shy about asking people at the address.
