Luxury 16th Century 4-Beds Tudor Cottage

Absolutely — based on what you’ve said, I’d make it enthusiastic but still believable, with the 16th-century character and Fiona & Matt’s hospitality as the focus. An absolute hidden gem – 11/10! ⭐️ We had the most incredible weekend staying in this beautiful 16th-century Tudor cottage for our friend’s 40th birthday, with a group of couples and friends. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found somewhere really special. The cottage is absolutely full of character, with stunning original features that have clearly been cared for and respected. It manages to feel historic and authentic while still being incredibly comfortable and homely. The living rooms were so cosy, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was amazingly well equipped — I even managed to cook a full Sunday roast with ease! The whole place was peaceful and cosy, with that wonderful feeling of being completely away from everything. The parking was plentiful and, despite feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere, the local village and shop are only a few minutes away by car. And then there’s the hot tub… absolutely gorgeous and the perfect addition to an already amazing stay! Fiona and Matt were fantastic hosts — incredibly warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about the property. You can genuinely see how much love and respect they have for this beautiful piece of history. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and are already planning our next visit.
