Excellent location and property. The owner stopped by shortly after we arrived and explained several things about the property. Very helpful.
Perfect location that provided quick access to Manitou Springs sites, Colorado Springs. We also drove north 10 miles to Woodland Park and then on over to Cripple Creek (stopping at Raspberry Mtn for a great hike).
The house is large and arranged perfectly for our needs. Nice access to the creek behind, really nice master bedroom with a walk-out deck.

My wife and I took a chance and booked a week stay at a new listing in Cascade/Chipita Park, called the Bear's Den. Wow! We met the host upon arrival who explained that they had remodeled the cabin over the past year or so. Almost everything is new and mountain modern, including furnishings and numerous art/decorations throughout. It felt much more like a second home than a vacation rental. You could tell the owner/hosts were very thoughtful with everything, from the quality of bedding, towels, kitchen items, etc. (and a steam shower in the master!) Not to mention the HUGE lot/backyard with a running creek at the very back. Definitely a 5-star experience from check-in to check-out.
