TIA Lake

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment in Tirana. It was exceptionally clean, neat and equipped with everything we needed, including a smart TV and a lovely kitchen with all the equipment for cooking. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept so well. Despite being in a lively area, the apartment was peaceful and quiet. The location was fantastic, close to both the city centre and the lake, with excellent cafes and shops nearby. Everything was within walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was amazing, and we were very happy with the whole experience. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it!

All was good

The property was in an excellent location, with a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy and other essential shops conveniently nearby. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful, with no disturbing noise, making our stay relaxing. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and having it in a separate bedroom was a real advantage. Both the bedroom and living room had air conditioning and their own TV units, which made the apartment more comfortable and practical. The shower was modern and pleasant to use, and the furnishings were new. Overall, the excellent location, peaceful surroundings, comfortable bed and well-equipped living spaces were the highlights of our stay.

The most important issue was privacy. The curtains were inadequate, meaning the room could be clearly seen from outside during both the day and the evening. Keeping the lights off was not a practical solution. Better curtains or another effective privacy solution are therefore needed. The bathroom was nice, but having the shower directly opposite the toilet was not ideal. There was no suitable place to keep a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other personal care products, so I bought a small plastic bathroom organiser myself. A hairdryer was not available for the first few days. I was later told that one could be provided, but by then we had already found a practical solution ourselves and no longer needed it. Although a kettle was provided, there was no tea, coffee, or coffee machine. Providing at least a bottle of water would have been a thoughtful welcome, especially for guests arriving after a journey. After carefully examining the photos on Booking.com, particularly the two television units shown, I realised that the property had a separate bedroom and living room. Wider-angle photos and a clearer description would help guests better understand the layout of the apartment before booking. Although the furniture was new, the interior had a rather masculine feel and seemed more like a space designed for everyday personal use than accommodation thoughtfully prepared for guests. Comfort also means anticipating guests' practical needs in advance. Improving privacy, paying more attention to the amenities provided, and using clearer, more informative photos could make a significant difference and create a much better guest experience at this property.

We had a wonderful stay, the property was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully presented, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was peaceful and convenient, and everything we needed was provided. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!
