Great location, quiet environment, comfortable bed and very clean. The host was quick to respond and helpful.

Although there was a fridge, kettle and microwave in our private area, there was no crockery, apart from two mugs, no cutlery or tea towel, and no tea, coffee or milk. We were able to go downstairs into the host’s kitchen for these, however they would be very handy in the kitchenette area. Otherwise, we were very happy.

Much character. Clean and well presented.

Parking our car was potentially an issue. We didn’t stay at this property that we had rented for the three nights. We left after thirty minutes, and are dissatisfied that we were not offered, at the least, the paid, included cleaning fee in return. Our age being the primary factor of not be able able to remain for the planned and organized three nights. Bare ‘floor board’ flooring in the bedroom was one issue due to the very cold night. The requirement of parking our car a few long streets away, would have been a health issue for me, as would have been the 1920s wooden stairs, which takes years down to the common lounge area and kitchen. Lack of comfortable seating in the bedroom and lack of a television would have been inconvenient, due to the weekend of the presentation of Logie awards (we had a connection to this event and realized we would be missing it).
