About this cabin rental
The studio is sized right for two. A queen bedroom with a modern ensuite, a kitchenette stocked with what you need for quiet mornings - a kettle, a toaster, a fridge, a microwave - and armchairs positioned toward the bush outside. The setting does the rest.
There is something specific to waking up in a small, well-built room in a forest. The light comes in slowly. The birds start early. The kangaroos that graze in the yard are entirely indifferent to you. Little Cherry was designed for exactly this kind of morning.
The four acres of bush surrounding the property are yours to explore on foot. The other villas on the property sit at a respectful distance with their own entrances and rhythms.
Little Cherry is yours entirely: the queen bedroom, ensuite, and kitchenette. You have a private entrance separate from the neighbouring studio. The four-acre grounds are open to explore.

Emerald is a quiet hill town with a settled, independent character. The Dandenong Ranges National Park begins almost at the edge of the village, and the walking tracks through Sherbrooke Forest and the Kokoda Track Memorial Walk in Belgrave offer genuine old-growth forest within 20 minutes of the property.
A car is recommended. The Yarra Valley is 30 to 40 minutes by road. Melbourne CBD is approximately one hour. Puffing Billy connects Belgrave to Gembrook via Emerald and is worth at least one trip.
Emerald village is a five-minute drive. There are good cafes, a reliable pub, and the Puffing Billy station for a scenic morning on the railway through the Ranges. The Yarra Valley is roughly 30 minutes from the property and offers some of Victoria's best cellar-door experiences at Yering Station, Rochford, and Giant Steps in Healesville. The Healesville Sanctuary is nearby for those who want it.
