About this house rental
The log burner and original features provide a warming cottage atmosphere, but with all your modern amenities.
Whether it's a day on the historic Worth Valley Railway, exploring Haworth's cobbled streets or a more relaxed pace soaking up the sun in the Hidden Garden, Clematis Cottage offers everything you'll need for the perfect getaway.
The space
Dating back to 1630, Clematis Cottage has been at the heart of the village of Laycock. Originally part of a larger farmhouse, the cottage has been lovingly maintained in a quiet, rural setting. Today, the Grade II listed property offers authentic historic character paired with modern features for the complete stay.
Your own private retreat, Clematis Cottage offers something for all seasons. In winter, staying cosy is no problem with the log burner and 17th century fireplace. Meanwhile, in summer, your very own hidden mediterranean garden is complete with patio area and palm tree.
The 2-bedroom cottage, with off-street parking, can sleep up to 4 guests, with Super King size and double beds, alongside the chalet-style bathroom. Downstairs features a fully equipped kitchen and open lounge/dining area with comfy sofas you can kick back on and relax. The Smart TV has access to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and more, ***with login required***. We also have a DVD player and selection of films, as well as a choice of board games.
***Both the hidden garden and cottage garden are gated areas for your dogs. The cottage garden can be found directly in front of the property while the hidden garden is not directly attached and can be located across the road.***
