Step inside this beautifully restored former railway cottage and enjoy a peaceful stay in one of the Peak District’s most loved valleys. With beautiful countryside views, two super king bedrooms, garden seating and easy access to Hope railway station, the cottage offers a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests across two spacious bedrooms, both with super king beds and lovely views across Hope Valley. The top floor loft master bedroom is a standout feature, with roof windows, a calm open plan feel and a bathtub within the bedroom space, perfect for a long soak after a day exploring the hills. This room also has an enclosed ensuite WC and sink.
The second bedroom is also restful and comfortable, with a super king bed and peaceful valley views, making the layout well suited for two couples, a small family or friends travelling together.
Guests have use of a full kitchen, a cosy living room, dining aroom, and a main shower room on the first floor. Outside, the garden seating area is a lovely spot for morning coffee, evening drinks or simply taking in the surrounding countryside.
There is ample parking at the cottage, and Hope railway station is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the Peak District with or without a car. Walks, cycling routes and running trails are close by, with Win Hill, Lose Hill, Mam Tor, Castleton, Edale and Kinder Scout all within easy reach.

The area is ideal for hikers, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with Win Hill, Lose Hill, Mam Tor, Edale and Kinder Scout all within easy reach. Nearby Castleton is also a favourite for caves, independent shops, Peveril Castle, Cave Dale and Winnats Pass.
Getting Around:
Hope railway station is just a short walk from the cottage, making it easy to explore the Peak District without a car. The Hope Valley Line connects Sheffield, Manchester and nearby villages, with Edale just one stop away for Kinder Scout and the Pennine Way.
Hope village centre is around a 10 to 15 minute walk away, while Castleton, Mam Tor, Win Hill, Lose Hill and the wider Hope Valley area are all easy to reach by foot, bus, train or car. Guests should check local bus and train times in advance, especially for evening travel and Sundays.
