Get ready for an unforgettable stay in this charming log cabin, beautifully situated near Vardefjell. Here you can enjoy stunning views, local hikes and cozy evenings by the fireplace. The cabin is just far enough away to feel like a true escape, yet close enough to local shops for all your needs.
The interior combines classic cottage style with modern touches. The spacious kitchen is the heart of the cabin, complete with a large dining table, stunning views and an inviting fireplace. The living room is a quiet retreat with comfortable furniture and an open fireplace. The loft is a favorite for younger guests, equipped with a large TV and "classic" computer games. There are three bedrooms, including a guest room with a separate entrance to the toilet/laundry room, and the main bathroom is conveniently located close to the other two bedrooms.
The outdoor area is simply stunning, with a deck and hot tub perfect for relaxing after an active day. You can also strap on your cross-country skis right by the cabin, with tracks of varying lengths depending on your level. You'll find slalom slopes in Aurdal, about 49 minutes by car from the cabin.
The area around the cabin has something for everyone. You can take a summit trip to Vardefjell, where you'll find bathing water on the way to the top. Or visit the abandoned Gurisetra mountain hut, where you can experience a beautiful view and pick raspberries. Gamlestølen mountain lodge is just a short drive away, and there are several fishing and berry picking opportunities nearby.
