Welcome to this Ål cabin in Geilo! The Ål cabin's design is award-winning for its distinct design and is on the list to be protected by UNESCO. Here you'll experience a mix of modern and timeless expression, as well as a fantastic location close to alpine and ski slopes.
Inside the cabin, the high ceilings in the living room and kitchen contrast with the cozy loft above the rest of the cabin. The furniture is designed together with the cabin, resulting in a very practical interior, even in small spaces.
Outside the cabin, a large veranda awaits, perfect for cozy evenings with a good glass of beer or wine. Here you can enjoy nature and fresh mountain air. In addition, there is a practical storage room and a separate sleeping cabin in the yard.
Geilo and the surrounding area offer a wealth of activities. In winter you can enjoy skiing - either downhill or cross-country - with 20 ski lifts and 46 ski slopes. Visit Vestlia Resort for a swim, a glass of wine or to admire the extensive art collection. In summer, there are plenty of activities for children. We recommend a trip to Prestholtseter, with rømmegrøt and real goat's cheese, or a hike up Hallingskarvet.
