About this house rental
The design choices inside the cabin are simple, with carefully considered solutions and a minimalist design that retains its characteristic charm. Inside the cabin, you may notice that all rooms have built-in furniture, so that every space feels like a vantage point or "hideaway". To take up as little space as possible in the terrain, the cabin is built as a natural part of the surrounding landscape. At the same time, you get the feeling of being close to nature.
The open space between the kitchen, dining table and living room provides an airy atmosphere, with beautiful light coming in from the large windows. The beautiful wooden materials used in the ceiling construction inside give a very spacious feeling. The cabin has many hiding places, such as the loft in the middle, the day bed or the two double bunk beds on either side of the cabin. There, both adults and children can retreat with a book or a few toys, and completely relax either alone or in each other's company.
The surrounding area offers plenty of activities and nature experiences for the whole family. First and foremost, the hiking area around the cabin, with endless opportunities for both short and long excursions, where you can enjoy a packed lunch or grill some sausages in a fantastic landscape. You can get Norway's best waffles if you visit the tourist cabin at Høgevarde or the family-run café at Fiskeløysingen, and after a long day out in nature you can let the heat embrace you in the sauna. It's also not far to drive to the ski resort at Norefjell in winter, or the popular Bjørneparken in Flå.
Ski in/ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 6 min to Tempelseter Ski Center.
