Design cabin at Høgevarde with panoramic views

Built in 2011, this log cabin sits 920 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views to the southwest, overlooking a small mountain lake and the mountain range stretching from Høgevarde to Gråfjell. The 2,500-square-meter lot has virtually no neighbors to the west. The gray-stained timber, thatched roof, and large light-gray terrace give the cabin a distinctive character.



The interior has been carefully selected for comfort and coziness. You’ll find, among other things, Hästens beds, a Skagen dining table, and Best-lite lamps. The large freezer and refrigerator offer plenty of space for provisions. Geothermal heating provides comfortable floor heating on the ground floor, and you can enjoy the warmth from both the wood-burning stove and the fireplace after a long day outdoors. The 50-square-meter garage provides ample space for your car.



Høgevarde stretches from 600 to 1,450 meters above sea level and offers marked and unmarked mountain hikes, over 20 km of off-road biking, and fishing in nine lakes. In winter, 60 km of cross-country trails are groomed, and Høgevarde Fjellpark offers downhill skiing. The cabin provides fishing permits for six lakes, including Fyrisjøen, with rowboats and canoes available for free use.
