In the heart of Sogndal, surrounded by forest and with beautiful mountain views, lies this gorgeous modern cabin gem. The cabin, which is built on a hill, rests on stilts that give you the feeling that the cabin is floating above the ground, and is a natural part of the topography. The cabin is modern, with clean lines, hard and solid natural materials that can withstand use and aging, in perfect combination with delicate wood, muted natural colors and gorgeous textiles.
As you enter the cabin, you will be greeted by the breathtaking views through the large windows and the beautiful choice of materials. The combination of warm wood and harder materials such as stone and concrete creates a unique atmosphere that emphasizes the contrast between contemporary and traditional, with built-in bookshelves, cozy reading nooks and unique sleeping spaces that encourage conversation and togetherness.
The area is full of great hiking opportunities, and it's a short distance to the mountains - where you can enjoy great views in all directions. In summer and winter, you'll find plenty of fun in the mountains, with plenty of opportunities for both young and old. Here you can put on your skis on the terrace and walk for miles on beautiful trails.
When you return home after a day in the mountains, there's plenty of opportunity to retreat to the loft, hunker down and enjoy the view from the bathtub or cook together in the spacious and sociable kitchen. You can also cook outside on the barbecue or fire pit, and the cozy garden furniture gives you plenty of opportunity to enjoy a cup of cocoa in the sun after your hike.
