The cabin has been carefully restored with respect for its history, with new windows and wooden roofs complimenting the original timber construction. The simple interior is characterized by natural materials and authentic details. The cabin is heated with wood from the wood shed, where you will also find the outhouse.





Outside the cabin, a pristine natural plot awaits where the morning dew caresses your bare feet. You can enjoy the sunset from the rocky outcrop, while Steinsvannet beckons with opportunities for both morning swims and leisurely rowing.





From Steinsborg you have access to an extensive network of hiking trails that stretch all the way to Ørje and Rakkestad. The area offers inviting bathing waters and cycle paths, and with only an hour's drive to Oslo or Fredrikstad, you can easily combine wilderness with city life.
